Silo: Edge of the Real World is a meditation on life in a small Midwest farm town. When a grain entrapment shocks their small community, Adam Fox, a young farmer and Clay Althoff, a senior in high school, both consider the risks and rewards of a corn farmer’s life.

About the Filmmaker

Marshall Burnette is a narrative and commercial filmmaker from Johnson City, TN. He graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2010 and currently lives with his wife and dog in Nashville, TN. He has Directed numerous commercial campaigns for clients such as Chevrolet, Delta Dental, and 1-800-Quit-Now. “Silo: Edge of the Real World” is Marshall’s second, festival selected short film. The short documentary was created as a “companion film” to a narrative feature film based on the same source material. Marshall is slated to Direct the feature film later in 2018.
