Jonathan Hock is an eight‐time Emmy Award winning producer, director, writer and editor. Off the Rez is Hock’s fifth feature‐length documentary since 2005, when his film Through the Fire premiered at Tribeca. 2009’s The Lost Son of Havana, filmed on location in Cuba, also premiered at Tribeca. Both films eventually aired on ESPN, where Hock’s previous film, The Best That Never Was, earned critical and popular acclaim as part of the “30 For 30” series. Hock was born in New York in 1964, where he lives today with his wife Lynn and sons Eddie and Joseph.
