Andrew Nadkarni
Andrew Nadkarni is a multiracial filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. His directorial debut, BETWEEN EARTH & SKY was shortlisted for the 2024 Academy Awards. It received grand jury prizes for Best Documentary Short from Big Sky and Hot Springs Film Festivals, nominations for two Critics Choice Awards and Cinema Eye Honors, and a broadcast premiere on POV / PBS. A 2023 BRIClab Artist in Residence, he integrates sustainable community care, and trauma-informed practices into his filmmaking process. Andrew has worked in production on numerous narrative features and series, and recently produced ACTUAL PEOPLE, on MUBI.
