Sean David Johnson is an Emmy award winning TV Executive and Showrunner with more than twenty years of experience developing and producing some of television’s most popular programs. He has worked within a diverse array of genres including Documentary, News, Pop Culture, and Digital.
Sean currently serves as Executive Producer at National Geographic Channel overseeing the production of unscripted programming for NGC, Hulu, and Disney+. His current slate includes, Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller, Erased: WW2's Heroes of Color; and the upcoming series Pole to Pole with Will Smith and Katrina. Before joining the network in 2021 Sean worked for ten years as a showrunner for BBC America, CBS, Viceland, Starz, Quibi, VH1, and Bravo.
