Rachel Greenwald
Originally from the Bay Area, Rachel Greenwald is a film producer with a passion for impactful storytelling. From a young age, Rachel found a deep love for narratives. Whether through books or movies, she has been fascinated by the power of storytelling which shows throughout her body of work as a producer. Following graduation from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Greek and Roman Literature, Rachel began producing across multiple genres, from original docuseries to branded storytelling, music videos, and narrative shorts. Her work can be seen on Netflix, HBO, and the New York Times and has screened at festivals including Tribeca and Telluride. Rachel has cultivated a distinct producing style that combines both critical thinking and deep empathy. She strives to continue making stories that challenge, provoke, and engage audiences everywhere. Currently, Rachel serves as lead producer at the Academy Award®-winning Breakwater Studios. Previously, she was an associate producer on the Netflix documentary anthology series UNTOLD.
