Synopsis: When Frank Granados was a teenager, his first and only child, Jenelle, was born. A few months later, Frank would learn that she had been put up for adoption without his consent. Frank spent decades knowing nothing about his daughter, while Jenelle was led to believe her father had died in a car accident. Nearly forty years later following an unbelievable series of events, Frank and Jenelle finally reunite.

 

About the Filmmaker

Erin Sanger is an award-winning filmmaker whose work spans both narrative and documentary realms. Her films have screened at festivals including SXSW, Tribeca, and Aspen Shortsfest. She is a Wasserman Award winner, Webby Award honoree, Student Academy Award nominee, and Academy Nicholl Fellowship Semi Finalist. Her directorial work has been featured on ESPN’s 30 for 30 series, ABC, PBS, The Atlantic, National Geographic, and Topic. She has directed for brands including Infiniti, Häagen-Dazs, Travelers, 23&Me, Logitech, Bai, Live Nation, Condé Nast, Vox, and Tribeca Studios. She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
