Tim Metzger is an Academy Award nominated filmmaker and Emmy nominated cinematographer. His freelance career as director of photography spans over 15 years and 6 continents, including Emmy-nominated projects such as the Spielberg/Discovery production RISING: Rebuilding Ground Zero, and the National Geographic series, The Story of God, with Morgan Freeman. With his partner, director Jennifer Redfearn, Tim shot and produced the Oscar-nominated short documentary Sun Come Up, the award-winning feature Tocando la Luz, and their most recent feature documentary, APART. He has also taught documentary filmmaking for New York University.
